Appointments

Here is important information about Novant Health Pediatrics SouthPark's office policies including office hours and procedures for new patients as well as how to schedule or cancel visits.

Check-in

Appointments are scheduled to occur during regular business hours. Remember to bring your health insurance card as we will need a copy of your card at every visit. A well visit generally needs to be scheduled a few weeks in advance. Recheck appointments may be scheduled within a few days. We have same-day sick visit appointments available. Calling ahead offers you greater opportunity to schedule an appointment with the provider of your choice and at a time that best suits your needs.

New patients

We ask that new patients arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to complete paperwork. Remember to bring your health insurance card and, if applicable, have your previous medical and vaccine records sent to our office before your visit. We will not be able to administer vaccines without a current vaccine record.

Office hours

Appointments are scheduled Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend and holiday office hours are available to our established patients for sick appointments only.

Confirmation & cancellation

We ask that you cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Please review our No show / cancellation policy before scheduling an appointment.

After-hours support

We provide an after-hours answering service for urgent medical problems. Weekend and holiday office hours are reserved for acute or urgent medical problems for our established patients. New patients, well visits and routine follow-up appointments need to be scheduled during normal weekday office hours.

Holidays

Our office is open in the morning for our established patients on the following holidays: New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day.  We are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

Co-pay

The patient / parent is responsible for the co-pay at the time of service. We collect your co-pay at check-in as determined by your health insurance company.
